Software

The job your spreadsheetis doing badly.

We build the tool your business is currently doing by hand — so the job takes minutes instead of an afternoon. For anywhere somebody loses an afternoon a week to something a screen should be doing.

  • The plan is yours
  • No lock-in
  • No jargon

Fast. Friendly. No obligation.

Minutes,
not afternoons.

What arrives

Not a discovery phase and a status meeting. These are the things you end up holding.

A working version first

Something you can actually use, before you pay the balance. Not a demo, not a prototype — the thing.

Built for how you work

Around the way the job is already done, rather than making your staff learn somebody else's idea of it.

Your staff shown how

Walked through it properly, so it doesn't quietly go unused the week after we leave.

The spec, in writing

A proper description of the screens, what they do, and how they fit what you already have.

And you own that spec

Even if you take it elsewhere and have somebody else build it. That is deliberate.

No six-month project

There's no project manager and no steering group. If it can't be useful quickly, we'll say so.

The plan is yours, even if you walk away.

We start with a paid discovery sprint, and at the end you own the written spec — including if you take it to somebody else and have them build it instead. That is on purpose. The biggest fear a small business has about commissioning software is being locked to whoever wrote the first line of it, and this removes it. If the sprint tells us the job isn't worth building, we'll say that too.

How it works

You can stop after any of these.

  1. 01

    A short chat

Fifteen minutes on the job that's eating the time — what happens now, who does it, and how often it goes wrong.

  2. 02

    A plan you own

A written spec of exactly what we'd build and what it would cost. Yours to keep whatever you decide next.

  3. 03

    We build it

A working version you can use before you pay the balance, then your staff shown how to run it.

What it costs

Published, with the reasoning beside it — so you can judge whether it's worth it before you speak to anyone.

Discovery sprint

From £150

A written spec of what we'd build. Credited to the build if you go ahead, and yours to keep if you don't.

A scoped build

From £999

The tool itself, with a working version you can use before you pay the balance.

What moves it: how many screens it needs, and whether it has to talk to the other systems you already use.

All prices exclude VAT. We invoice in pounds.

We build our own, too.

The tools that run Firework Superstore and That Party Place — stock, labels, orders, reporting — were built here and are used here every day. When something breaks on a Saturday it's us that fixes it. We're not recommending something we've only read about.

“We write you the plan first. You own it either way.”

What's eating the time?

No Sales Calls. No Jargon. We Design, You Decide.

  • Tell us about the job being done by hand and we'll write you a plan for what would replace it.
  • The written spec is yours to keep, whatever you decide next.
  • If it isn't worth building, we'll tell you that instead.

We use what you send here to reply to you, nothing else.
